Benefits

At Saint John's Health Center, we know that ensuring the health and welfare of you and your family is the most essential to you. We provide an excellent Compensation and Benefits package to our employees which includes LOW & NO COST HEALTHCARE (Medical, Dental and Vision) coverage, a generous Paid Time Off accrual, Tuition Reimbursement, and MORE! Summary of Benefits

Benefits are effective the first of the month following your hire date.

Flex Dollars ― An amount of benefit dollars given to you by Saint John’s to pay for benefit options. Designed to let you choose your own benefits according to your specific needs.

  • Medical
    ― Three Medical options, including two HMO’s (Health Maintenance Organizations) and one PPO (Preferred Provider Organization).
  • Dental
    ― Two dental options, each providing different levels of coverage to meet your needs.
  • Vision
    ― One traditional vision care plan.
  • Life Insurance
     ― 
    • Full-time employees receive basic life insurance of 1 times the annual salary (up to $50,000) at no cost.
    • Part-time employees receive basic life insurance of $15,000.00 at no cost.
    • Eligible employees may purchase up to 4 times their annual salary of group term life insurance.
  • Short Term Disability ― Provided at no cost to all Full-time employees for disabilities from 30 days to 180 days in length.
  • Long Term Disability ― Three levels of coverage available to Full-time employees, should you experience a prolonged disability over 180 days.
  • Cash ― Up to $500 in leftover Flex Dollars are available as taxable income.

Spending Accounts ― A way to pay health care and dependent care expenses on a pre-tax basis.

    • Health Care Spending Account annual contribution limit is $5,000.00.
    • Dependent Care Spending Account annual contribution limit is $5,000.00, or $2,500.00 per person if you are married and filing separate tax returns.

Dependent Life Insurance ― Three levels of dependent life insurance are available.

  • Paid Time Off (PTO) - A combination of traditional vacation, holidays and sick leave. Accrues as of the first day of employment. Full-time annual maximum accrual of 400 hours.

Extended Sick Leave (ESL)

Supplements State Disability if the reason for the absence from work is medical and the employee is absent from work for seven (7) consecutive days or longer. Employees earn .01923 hours for each hour paid not to exceed 40 hours per year.

Tuition Reimbursement

Tuition, books, and parking reimbursed for job related educational programs. CEU’s, Seminars, workshops for Full-time and Part-time employees.
