Saint John's Health Center has an entire unit and highly experienced staff dedicated to patients recuperating from spine, hip, knee and other types of highly specialized joint surgeries. The orthopedic team consists of exceptionally trained surgeons, rehabilitation specialists, exercise specialists and pain experts. The Orthopedic Unit at Saint John's is state of the art with 48 rooms - 16 of which can be converted into semi-private rooms during times of high demand. Additionally, physical therapy is located on the same floor to provide patients with easy access during recovery. A family waiting room is available in the Orthopedic Unit near the visitor's elevator for the convenience of patients' guests.
