For six decades, Saint John's Health Center has been providing families with quality care in a nurturing, respectful atmosphere that addresses the needs of the entire patient - mind, body and spirit. The Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth have engendered our tradition of reverence for the whole person and steadfast compassion for patients and families in times of need, when they brought their Mission of service and care from Kansas to found Saint John's. It is our History and this tradition that sets Saint John's apart from other health care facilities and attracts the highest caliber of Physicians, Nurses and support professionals.

Saint John's provides a full spectrum of treatment and diagnostic services. In particular, we are committed to Saint John's four areas of excellence: Cancer Care, Cardiac Care, Orthopedics, Women's Health, and a wide array of Other Health Services. The dedication of our nurses and physicians in these and all areas of health care, and our attention to patient needs, along with the overall excellence of the Health Center's staff, have helped Saint John's set the standard for health care now and for years to come.

Saint John's embarked upon a comprehensive campaign to create a new, state-of-the-art health center campus, designed to facilitate the best patient care in the nation - not only day-to-day, but in the event of an unforeseen emergency.

Construction of The New Saint John's Health Center campus is well underway, according to a carefully phased building program that allows Saint John's to remain open and fully operational throughout the transformation process, with completion scheduled for 2008.
