Saint John’s Health Center Trustee and John Wayne Cancer Institute Board member Julia Gouw Named Philanthropist of the Year

     Julia Gouw has been named Philanthropist of the Year by the Los Angeles Business Journal. Ms. Gouw is a member of the Board of Trustees for Saint John’s Health Center Foundation, and also serves on the Board of the John Wayne Cancer Institute at Saint John’s.
 
     Gouw was named Philanthropist of the Year for her impassioned commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. Gouw inspires women and girls to set high standards for themselves and to see the importance of giving back to their community.

     Gouw, who is Vice Chairman of the Board and Chief Risk Office of East West Bank, the second largest commercial bank based in Los Angeles, was also named one of the top 25 most powerful women in banking four times by U.S. Banker, magazine.
